I'm looking for a site about picture analysis about couples, can you help?
I read somewhere that you can analyse the happiness of a couple by looking on their pictures together. For example, if they look the same way, that is a sign that they have the same goals... etc. I'm looking for a site about it.I'm looking for a site about picture analysis about couples, can you help?
Look for personal photo albums that are not locked. Most portrait poses will tell you nothing since the photographer most often suggests the pose.. but I can see how you might gain some minor insight into the relationships in candid snapshots of couples in their home enviorment. Those same shots out in public might be somewhat stilted by the impression the couple tries to make on their social crowd. Even then there may be subtle clues that everything is not as it appears. Close details of the people in the background might tell you more that the actual subject of the shot.Couples on the edge of a breakup have a hard time keeping up the front.I'm looking for a site about picture analysis about couples, can you help?
Julie keeping up a front means not letting people see what is privately going on with you. Smiling at people on the bus even when you feel sad internally. Not sharing your private concerns with people who cant be of any real assistance and who might actually just muddy the issue if they knew.
Well, first, thats stupid.
Second, it has nothing to do with photography.

What contraceptive/birth control is MOST commonly used by MARRIED COUPLES?
note that i would like to know about married couples only
Thanks a bunch:)What contraceptive/birth control is MOST commonly used by MARRIED COUPLES?
Birth control pill plus condom. What contraceptive/birth control is MOST commonly used by MARRIED COUPLES?
IUD is VERY common in married couples
condoms
depo shot
extraction method (if that counts as a method)
thats what we do... and it works for us!
Well, we both agreed for me to pull out at the right moment before impact and that failed; I left it in like a dummy and got her pregnant with our first child.
So we decided after that for her to get on the pill. Thus far it has been great!
Abstinence. Because after a short while, sex isn't any big deal.
Are you planning on having children? If not, vasectomy. If so, I like the depo shot.
I'm on the pill.
my man pulls out,
he knows me best.
vasectomy
Well my wife is on Mirena. She loves it so far.
none.
Condoms.
They are the safest and easiest for both.
Pill? You are willing to take hormones into your body because your husband is too lazy to put on a rubber? Talk about a raw deal!
i use a periguard iud. because i don't do well with the added hormones in other methods

How to get a white girlfriend? I'm asian and in my school there are no asian and white couples.?
Be yourself and approach them. Don't expect them to come to you. That's not how it works.
I'm Asian and I date all kinds of girls. You have to do the work. Good luck! How to get a white girlfriend? I'm asian and in my school there are no asian and white couples.?
lol why would you want some cave beast from europe? you need to have your eyes checked. black women and asian women are the only real women on this earth. white women are part dogs for crying out loud, and they smell like fish and kitty litter. How to get a white girlfriend? Just be yourself. Don't try too hard. Most of all don't go around thinking about your ethnicity. If you are a nice guy then you will attract a nice girl!
Good luck! It gets so much easier in College.
Why not exclude the race factor and just approach a White girl like you would any other girl??? And who cares if there are no Asian/White couples... make the first one happen!!
LOL, you'd die a virgin. Unless you embrace everyone.
why must she be white?
you sound shallow
shouldnt personality %26amp; morals count?

Hell NO....... take romeo and juliet,,,,, as much as I love my fiancee, I don't see myself killing myself over him...........Are Love icons couples whose amazing romances shaped the concept of love?
The concept to people who dont understand it yes but to those who are in love its completely different
sadly yes...often times it's an unrealistic concept of love....Disney movies show how the couple got together and how they lived ';happily ever after'; but they don't show the work that goes in ';living happily ever after';

Why do couples usually love woman-on-top positions if the husband is white and wife is asian?
some researchers conducted a survey which mainly targets at ';White guy + asian woman '; couple. The white guy is usually tall and muscular and asian wife is petite.
The research conclusion comes out. They usually love women-on-top positon. I get confused. Why does this happen ? What are the adavantages?
Give your views , thanksWhy do couples usually love woman-on-top positions if the husband is white and wife is asian?
I am 4'10'; and weigh 80lbs.
My husband is an American and is 5'10'; and weighs 180lbs.
He is too heavy for me and likes to rest once in a while if you know what I mean.
Also, he is too big, so I like it on top so I can control how deep it goes in so it doesn't hurt. Why do couples usually love woman-on-top positions if the husband is white and wife is asian?
Everyone loves woman-on-top. black, white, yellow, pink, asian, american, martian. it just so happens the survey targeted a ';White guy + asian woman'; sample. If it surveyed the entire population, they'd get the same results.
That, or everyone thinks they're excellent porn stars.
It is very natural.. That's the reason. This dates back to 800 BC when the first white guy had sex with the first asian woman. They did the woman-on-top position.
I don't think it matters what race you are. It is just easier for women to orgasm on top 9 times out of 10!

Often art imitates life...How come in pictures or artwork, when they do couples or friends they're never of different race?
I walked into a shoe store today and saw a photograph/advertisement of a IR couple with a White baby.
It was funny...
It was a Christmas setting, fire lit fireplace, the little girl with a bow in her hair, smiling, with a present in her hand.

That's not truee. I've seen pictures and artwork of couples and friends of different races.
Because in art it's about feeling not timing.

Im looking for a counselor that works with gay couples?
I would like to find someone me and my boy can go talk to, we are thinking about getting married and I just think before we make that step we should get some things out on the table. we are doing fine but we take two steps forwards and then a couple of steps back. without question we are going to make it but a mediator would be cool just to allow some space for to think about some things that maybe we wouldn't have thought about.Im looking for a counselor that works with gay couples?
I would think any counselor would be prepared to work with a couple whether or now you are in a gay relationship.

What are some good scources to research high school couples seperated by college?
I am writing an article on high school couples once college starts, one goes to school and the other stays behind, etc. Any surveys, facts and figures on how long they typically last, what percentage stay together etc. would be helpful. Also, if you have any personal experience, you may include it with your first name and location, and I will include quotes if you would like. What are some good scources to research high school couples seperated by college?
i'm not there's a site or anything. however, i can tell you most relationships do NOT work out when you're separated by a huge distance. it's hard enough to make it work when you live down the street from one another.

Does any one have ideas for party theme for couples ?
These couples are my church. I need a christian based theme. I would also like to have some games. I looked at a murder mystery theme but that didn't seem sutiable. It is going to be about 10 couples there. I would like to have something fun but different. Need by August 18. THanks.Does any one have ideas for party theme for couples ?
The game ';Personalities';
One couple plays the monitor and picks a subject... let's say ';animals';. Each person thinks of an animal in their mind. They whisper to the monitors what that animal is who record it on a sheet of paper.
After everyone has had thier selection recorded the monitors read allowed what the animals were. They don't say who was which animal nor do they say the animals in the order that they were given.
Starting with the couple to the left of the monitors, the couple try to guess who picked which animal. If they guess correctly that person joins their team and they continue to guess. They also can 'steal' those who's animal has already been correctly guessed but only after they have uncovered someone new.
When they guess incorrectly they lose their turn and the next couple/person gets to take their turn.
The object of the game is to get everyone on your team.
This is a great way to get to know each other. Subjects can include flowers, favorite food, cities, vacation sites, pets, states, etc.Does any one have ideas for party theme for couples ?
Noah's Ark would be really cool..........or maybe Adam and

Fares are cheap now until December but stay away during hurricane season June thru November and during spring break

Treasure Island ( Don Ceasar) in the St Pete area is great and I enjoy Sarasota because of it's great beaches ( Siesta key) Not sure of the spelling.
The Shore Club, for sure.
Florida is a big state. Is there a specific city you are looking at??...or just anyplace near the shore?. If your just generally looking the state over, you might try the Keys.

Destin and Panama City might work for you.

Why do couples have lots a kids ? Do they think they are so great they need to pass on the genetic code?
I live in a Mormon community and wonder y so many kids? A small family is 5 ! know a woman that has 10 and wants More! Why do you think they feel this is ok with the world being over populated? Why do couples have lots a kids ? Do they think they are so great they need to pass on the genetic code?
I say we end up like Japan. ( I believe) where you're only allowed one kid (only we dont make the rule for it being just a boy). I know it sounds harsh, but we're waaaay over populated as is!Why do couples have lots a kids ? Do they think they are so great they need to pass on the genetic code?
Our faith believes that the greatest thing we can ever accomplish on this earth is to have a family and bring children into this world. It's different for everyone though. I'm Mormon and I don't plan on having 10 kids. That's my preference. You know, other non-mormon pelple have 10 or 20 kids themselves.
';Do we think we're so great we need to pass on our genetic code?'; Wow... you have a lot of nerve.
I feel sorry for you... You live in a community of rabbits !!!
I would imagine it has something to do with the religion...
it could be that they want to pass on their faith, since there aren't too many of them, ie i dont know anyone who is a mormon
I don't know anything about the Mormon faith or community but people from all backgrounds have these large families sometimes. I don't get it. Maybe they just enjoy the drama of having all of those kids.
Low education.
Don't know but I don't want to have to put up with any.
I think it is their decision to do as they please... I am not Mormon so I don't know the reasons but personally we stopped at two....
I am not Super Woman.. So 2 is plenty to keep me ever so occupied...
I am sure religion may be a reason but none the less it is their choice.....
AMNESIA
I think it is mostly people of the religions what do not believe in using birth control.

Why do we only have parties for newly united couples?
I think we should have showers for the recently divorced (or dumped) They surely need some new kitchen tools or fluffy towels. How about a six-pack and some cheetos to go with the porn? (naturally, these would be for the males as the females get most everything of worth in our country. Why do we only have parties for newly united couples?
I think it's a great idea. It's a time when you really need cheering up and knowing friends care means a lot.Why do we only have parties for newly united couples?
I think the divorced and dumped throw their own parties!.
far as i know they do have parties for these circumstances
I party all the time
because it is called other things (not so nice things) when the same people do the same ';party type actions'; after newly being un-united.
who says you can't?
on the other hand, most people aren't thrilled with the fact that they've been dumped and don't want to advertise it too heavily.
ok
If females get all the good stuff it's mostly because the man lets them. Usually divorcing couples split things.
You may have parties for whomever you wish. There is already a litany of reasons for parties, and I believe the divorcee or dumpee is included on that list. But you may want to reconsider the notion of a party for the dumped person. Relationships today seem to be so casual, partners move in and out like ships in the night. You could be starting a trend that would rapidly get out of hand. But it's up to you.....

For couples to adopt, how long do you have to be married?
i know theres a time limit and it really depends on where you adopt from. I know for Korea its 5yr minimum. But what about for a U.S. adoption? For couples to adopt, how long do you have to be married?
In Oregon, it's one year.
It's not about requiring people to be married (single people in Oregon adopt all the time). It's about giving the child a stable home. A single person who has been single and stable for awhile can provide a stable home. After a major life change (marriage, birth, death, etc.), a family can't really provide a stable home. You need time to adjust before adding a new person to your family. For couples to adopt, how long do you have to be married?
Hopefully your country is not so behind the times as to expect couples to be married. In the UK you dont have to be married but you are expected to be in a relationship which is long standing. I would say that the expectation would be that you had been in the partnership for at least 4 years otherwise its just silly as you cant really offer permanence to a child otherwise.
It varies by state and even by agency. My partner and I are not married (because we're gay) and we live in PA. We are adopting right now. The agency we use adopt to gay couples all the time and even to single parents. So many children need homes. They shouldn't put stipulations on who can and cannot adopt. As long as their FBI check and clearances are okay, They should be allowed to raise a child.
No idea on the US, but in the UK there's no requirement for the aparent/s to be married. Heck, you can be single and still adopt in the UK.
There shouldn't be a limit within the US. Single people adopt all the time.

Should couples still enjoy single friendships with the opposite sex?
for example.. when in a committed loving relationship is it still ok to go out on dates with a single friend or would that be unfair on your partner? Interested in others opinions on this.. thanxShould couples still enjoy single friendships with the opposite sex?
Dates=cheating. Hanging out is iffy. Hanging out with your bf around or in a group is better.Should couples still enjoy single friendships with the opposite sex?
First of all I wouldn't call them dates, and no I wouldn't ';hang out'; with my single male friends without my bf being there. It just doesn't seem fair to the bf.
Single friendships of course are fine, but dates are definitely ';unfair on your partner';.

Why do you think a lot of couples look alike?
I have been noticing this a lot lately. I bumped into an old girlfriend lately, but before I saw her.. I saw her boyfriend who I had not yet met and thought immediately of her (like I saw her face in him... strange I know). She then came up behind him and I realised it was her boyfriend. Why do you think a lot of couples look alike?
Maybe it is so if the woman get pregnant while cheating the baby will still resemble her husband/boyfriend.Why do you think a lot of couples look alike?
You look at your self in a mirror and when your see a look-a-like you get a familiar face your drawn to!?
You ever notice that people look like their dogs too. Same thing, kind of narcissistic and a little creepy too!
when 2 ppl talk 2 each other, you can c a lot of mirroring..one smiles %26amp; so does da other.....Faces are like melodies with a natural urge to stay in sync.Multiplythese movements by several decades of marrige or a lot of time with another prson and its no wonder............
I have never noticed this however - I do think there are large groups of people who look very much alike but are not blood relatives - this is obviously due to alien-human hybrid clones who have reproduced over the last few centuries ...
;)
ok, I'm just kidding - but does anyone remember the X-Files episode that suggested a similar scenario?!? A fascinating notion.
As for couples looking a like - I'm more apt to believe people and their dogs looks a like.
Hope you find THE answer.
I have seen some couples where the people resemble each other. That makes it more noticeable than when you see the far more common case of couples that don't look a thing alike.
Outward appearance indicates nothing about the person on the inside, so looking alike doesn't mean they were meant for each other. I could look just like a woman who happens to be a complete witch. That doesn't mean we were meant for each other.
could be your psychic and a ghost has superimposed their face on her boyfriends face that is her relative.lol
One thing, opposites do NOT attract. People with similar lifestyles and values tend to gravitate towards each other.
its called tend to gravitate towards familiar things and whats more familiar than yourself.
I pity any man who resembles me...I'd be constantly fixing his hair..putting make up on him..putting him on a diet..making him wear perfume. He might even end up with botox or plastic surgery. I think it would be AWFUL to have a boyfriend who looks like me. I'd be VERY critical of him...soul mate or not. I do believe it's important for people to have common interests though.
Like Milhouse's parents Kirk and Lou-Anne Van Houten
they say couples that look alike are meant for each other....(soul mates)
It helps to keep humor in any relationship.....resembling one another can be a compliment or a challenge to be sure!!! certainly makes life interesting and sometimes very perplexing!!!! Life is short, eat lots of chocolate!!!!!
It's possible we're attracted to people who look similar and associate it with similar interests...
Or you know when you're in a relationship for awhile and you start to dress alike without realizing it? You're so close you start subconsciously imitating the other person. Maybe it's something like that.
It has been suggested that women seek men who remind them of their fathers and men seek women who remind them of their mothers. Then as they grow older, they more resemble brother and sister, hence each other.shiseido

Do you believe that there are ever couples that love each other like in a fairytale or movie?
Like everything just works out perfectly and they find true love and live happily ever after? I want a relationship like that for real where I know without a shadow of a doubt I'm with the right girl and we know how we feel about the other. I don't want our relationship to be based on needs but just pure love.Do you believe that there are ever couples that love each other like in a fairytale or movie?
yes, because anything is possible and they might have good karma and it maybe in the stars.
enjoyDo you believe that there are ever couples that love each other like in a fairytale or movie?
I believe it does happen, and I've seen it happen many times. (I guess I'm lucky enough to witness pure love), and I believe it is real. It all takes time, and trust. OH! %26amp; communication of course. It also requires work between the two, not just based on one person. It's honestly not rare to find, I've seen it happen a lot, and I know that one day I'll find true love, as I know you'll find it too. You'll find it when you least expect it, that's for sure.
honestly i am a very hopelessly romantic / loving / optomistic character x) and i always wanna believe that it's out there. but it seems to me these days that more and more people stop diggin each other and the fairytale love is overrated honestly cuz fights are kinda fun and they tell you more about a person and bring you two closer if it isn't TOO often... sooo idk i do think it's possible though.
I've lived with my boyfriend for 3 years, and have never been happier. It is definitely like a fairytale/movie. Some how it just happens..
YES! I have had that love. It was the wrong timing, though.
And, he died over a year ago. I will always hurt over it.
People say that my fiance and I are like that, we're best friends, soulmates even, and we hardly ever argue. It makes them sick.
I found Brokeback Mountain extremely comparable to the love between Sean and Trevor
It does exist, but it is rarer than people think and requires more effort than it seems.
Yes but that is extremely rare.
yeah. just hard to come by. most guys suck! lol.
I doubt it
I doubt it, it's too rare to exist in the real world.

Why do I get jealous of other couples?
It s been now almost 8 months I have been alone and I am now at an age where my friends have babies, married or settled. But me I am still here without nobody! and d worst thing is that now i even start getting jealous or admirative about the couples I see everywhere, train, bus, on the street.... I think I am depress coz I start eating like a pig! I am really jealous? Why do I get jealous of other couples?
I think that you are jealous, but it's ok not to be married or in a relationship yet cus there is plenty of time. I think you should try to enjoy being single for now. Hope this helps. ^^

What is the average amount of times couples has sex together & why do you suppose the reason they don't?
have it more often? What is the average amount of times couples has sex together %26amp; why do you suppose the reason they don't?
The average is whatever they see fit. Some it's roughly 2-3 times a week, others it's almost every day. Some it's just a couple times a month. It all depends on the couple.
Some of the reasons they may not have sex often could be
-Neither of the partners has a very high sex drive
-One partner has a high sex drive, but the other does not
-The have past that stage where it's sex all the time and they are settling down
-Stress
-Don't have the time
-Having children or living with parents
The list goes on and on.What is the average amount of times couples has sex together %26amp; why do you suppose the reason they don't?
average is as many as you can get in one day/week/month/year... :D
and that depends on how complicated your life it...
EVERYDAY!!!!! MAYBE 1-2 TIMES EVERYDAY....BUT DEFINITELY EVERYDAY EXCEPT FOR THAT ONE WEEK EVERY MONTH
Depends on how desirable they make themselves.
uh...my wife and i have been together for 11 years and we still **** like rabbits. an average amount is 7-20 times a week.

Is there government assistance for divorced/separated couples?
so i'm 25 years old and i think i am headed for a separation or divorce and i wanted to know if there is any help out there, like government or something, tell i can get on my feet. he was the bread winner i was sick kinda throughout the marriage and if this does happen i'm left with nothing... what should i do?Is there government assistance for divorced/separated couples?
Your husband should be paying you some alimony (how much will depend on how much he makes and how long you're married) as you get back on your feet and find your own way. I strongly suggest finding a divorce lawyer if you think your marriage is ending.
Actually, I'd recommend couples counselling first - that is, if you're willing to work on trying to save the marriage. Is there government assistance for divorced/separated couples?
If you have kids, there is welfare assistance in the form of food stamps, medicaid, cash aid, etc....However, I wouldn't recommend staying on it. This should only be used as a safety net, when the bottom falls out from underneath you. You already said...';till I can get on my feet';, so you already have the right idea.
If you don't have kids, which I suspect you don't because you probably would have mentioned that, you can try and get alimony. However, it sounds like you cannot really afford a lawyer that could get this for you. try the legal aid office in your area, or check with a para legal that could file papers for you (they cannot represent you though, since they are not allowed to practice law) But they do know how to sift through paperwork.
If at this point, you only THINK that you are heading for divorce, you may still be at a point in your relationship where you can have a civilized conversation with your spouse about the issues that compelled you to ask this question in the first place. You may just be having fear that he MAY leave. Or it could be you that wants to end the marriage.
In any case. It may be wise to find a job to live on while you beef up on your job skills by taking college classes, etc... I have always lived by the rule to never depend on anyone but yourself for your financial security. Even if you are in the most secure and loving relationship......That breadwinner could be gone in a heartbeat, it's always good to have a backup plan.
Get the phone book out and find an inexpensive attorney. File for divorce asking for temporary spousal support - or whatever they call it in your state (and if they even have it). Hopefully he won't contest it. If you think he will, that may not be the way to go. Otherwise the judge will probably grant it if you can say, hey, this is my plan to eventually support myself.
Final decree you'll be asking for alimony for a period of time to help you gain your independence.
If there is I've never heard of it.If you want a cheap lawyer call the bar association and ask for a low budget attorney sometimes they have them off there list it does cost a small fee for the referral.I've used them for a dept collection dispute before and my mom used them to divorce my dad.The government views these as domestic problems and not as something tax payers pay for.
Why not get a job like the rest of us or I don't know take your marriage vows seriously and stick with it.
People on wel-fare are like stray animals if you ever feed them instead of looking for thier own food they just keep comming back looking for the handout.

There is no federal assistance. Local assistance all depends on where you live.
Check your city and/or county agencies for welfare.
Just the basic welfare type programs. if you need them, use them. They are there for people who need them. Just don't abuse them....shiseido

How does the RC church support married couples and families ?
im stuck on this part of the essay and cant find anything on the internet. thanks. How does the RC church support married couples and families ?
The Catholic Church strongly encourages Marriage.... and supports full time.... families.
Marriage, in the eyes of the church, is the only place where sex, is not a MORTAL SIN. Because in marriage, sex is for the expression of love, and the procreation of children.
Family life, in the eyes of the Catholic Church, is the best way to show how the church is similar to the Church. In the church, we are all brothers and sisters in Christ. How does the RC church support married couples and families ?
Why don't you schedule an appt with one of the local priests at one of the local Catholic Churches %26amp; ask him? That way, he can give you information %26amp; direct you to other sources to help you with your essay.
I do know for a fact that they offer pre-marital %26amp; marital counseling (regardless of if the marriage is ok or on the road to divorce).
Good Luck.

What is society's tolerance for interracial couples?
I am in an interracial relationship, my friends and family are fine with it, but I have seen many people give us bad looks. And some people have been bold enough to come up to me or him and say that they have a problem with what we are doing. What do you think yahoo? What is society's tolerance for interracial couples?
I think that anybody who has a problem with it is being ignorant and stupid. The ONLY ones whose opinions should matter are you and the person you are in the relationship with. The fact that your friends and family are fine with you being with someone from another race is wonderful. You have the biggest part of the ';battle'; won. After that, I wouldn't give a second thought to people who act ignorantly because of their racism. If they tell you that they have a problem with what you or him are doing, then you should look them in the eye and ask them point blank, but very respectfully, ';and why do you feel that way?';.
By asking that, you might be surprised to learn that they feel that way for reasons having nothing to do with race. Or, if the reason they feel that way IS due to race, then you have told them in a considerate manner, that you know what they are doing by making such a statement and you are demonstrating to them that it is THEIR attitude, not your behavior, that is the problem. As for me, a total stranger who does not know you from anyone else, I think that as long as you both treat each other with respect and enjoy each other's company, THAT is what counts in ANY relationship. What is society's tolerance for interracial couples?
allegra i loved your comment as well, i actually posted that article in a blog on my myspace page
Thanks. Good to hear.
I agree with you. One would think people wouldn't be so narrow-minded in this day and age. I wish you all the best!!
What do you care what they think?
It depends on the city you live in. Some locales are more accepting than others, also, certain unions are more common and tolerated ie: white woman %26amp; black man, asian woman %26amp; white man.
I hear Eskimos don't tolerate people in bikinis. If you have the freedom to choose your partner, why shouldn't other people have freedom to criticize you?
I'm in a interracial marriage,I hate that term.Because we are ONE RACE.According to this society its interracial,I dont give a rats *** what anyone thinks or has to say,for me he can be a complete jerk as well as the greatest man alive. We love each other we hate each other. Why do you even care what anyone else thinks. If you do care, then maybe you should think twice about your relationship.
im from the uk. and i think it just generally accepted over here...i dont know anyone who would even think twice about it.
First, I must commend you on your bravery. My niece is getting married to one of the nicest men; but some of our family are as closed minded as I am about same sex. I told her to go and be happy; her family will get over it.
I don't see color.
If I were you and someone approached me with that and said they had a problem with it, I think I would look them in the eye and tell them their opinion was not solicited by me, but I will certainly give it some consideration. Then I would shake my head and walk away.
What business is it of their's? I see nothing wrong with mixed ethnic relationships at all. I am more concerned with exploitation that typically goes on in relationships. In my mind, commitment worth anything means marriage. That's putting your actions where your words are. Words don't mean crap if the walk is not there. Let a few storms come and see who has the walk and who has the talk. If a man finds a woman he loves with all his heart, a real man is not going to care what color she is. I am big, huge even, on not betraying, hurting, or exploiting someone for one's own gratification. Revolving door relationships are for the birds. Actually, only humans do that.
Unfortunately, the cultural identification issues persist. If you had children - they aren't completely embraced by either blacks or whites. I think it probably matters to blacks more at this point - the ';not being black enough'; type of thing.
Who cares...society doesn't keep you warm at night.Tell them..';SO!';
Here's a really cute article I just read on Yahoo! News a few days ago: http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/interracial_m鈥?/a> . Apparently interracial marriages have been flourishing (over the last 40 years, at least). I had forgotten that interracial marriage was in fact illegal until 40 years ago. Absurd.
Anyway, you should be proud to be part of an interracial couple. More people need to step outside what they know and realize that all the stupid boundaries we've constructed for ourselves - race, gender, religion - are arbitrary and pointless and function only to spread more hate than love.
In my opinion, two cultures are better than one. I think it is wonderful to have such a deep knowledge of and appreciation (and love) for the experiences and background of a person different from oneself. It's enriching.
When they came up to you and told you they had a problem with it...did they sound like this?
';I got me a problem with that there relations ya'll got';
It's the area you live in.
I lived in an area like that and now I don't. There is a BIG difference, it seems to be based on the general level of education. I couldn't care less who's dating who, in fact it seems that racial mixing is the ONLY way things will ultimately improve, LIKE IN BRAZIL! Nobody cares what your ';race'; is.
Having said that, the ONLY thing I would warn my daughter, etc. is that as you said, there ARE areas and there ARE people who WILL say things. If you have kids, there are people who WILL say things to them also. You have to be OK with that, or it will drive you crazy, those are just ignorant people.
I think that society does frown upon it, on both sides. I've been with black girls, and their parents seem to always disapprove of them going with a white dude. To me it seems that the black families are more against it than whites in my case.
Does it really matter what society thinks??? If your first thought is ';how does society feel about us'; then you have some other issues you need to deal with, because in the end as long as the two of you are happy and you have the support of your friends and family, who cares about everyone else
dumb asses the lot of em!]]
they must be white! no doubt

Why is marriage so important when most couples can't be faithful.?
I can't understand why society views marriage as being important, when most couples can't be faithful. So whats the point in being married? Why is marriage so important when most couples can't be faithful.?
To me, marriage isn't what it used to be, or should be. Couples are moving into each other's apartments, having kids- what's the point of marriage in the first place if you're doing everything except saying ';I do';? So... what's the point of getting married? Hey! You save money on the wedding and if things go wrong, you don't have to pay for a divorce. It's kinda sad, actually...Why is marriage so important when most couples can't be faithful.?
Jan, broad statements like ';when most couples can't be faithful.'; are generally not true, or are incomplete.
Specially your ';numbers'; are wrong, too high. Knowing this, you might have asked a better question.
In this, and in any other situation, make sure you have specific information.
My former Engineering professor told us ';A problem correctly defined is a problem half solved.';
For this forum, that means asking the question with as complete and correct information as you can get.
But, lets follow-up your concern.
I believe your numbers are high.
Often people make ';mistakes'; but understand that they may be faithful for 10 years, screw up one night, and they are now classified as unfaithful.
Compare this to a guy or girl who cheats every weekend.
Two different fish.
All this to say, do not oversimplify what you are talking about.
Cheating is wrong. But people are mostly faithful.
People marry for love and for hope.
It takes great skill to maintain a relationship. Love needs to be nurtured, people change, mistakes are made.
But love is great, hope is good, And many people do succeed.
A better question might be, why don't people learn the skills they need to succeed in relationship?
Marriage is only important to those who deem it so. Of course, there are legal benefits to marriage and there are tax benefits. However, for me, marriage means complete devotion. It means there is a mutual agreement to be companions throughout our lives. It means Commitment to each other. It means standing against all odds as one. It means nurturing each other and providing for each others needs. Marriage is a symbol indicating ';I've found what I want/need/love and promise to forsake all others on behalf of you.';
This is the best question that I've seen posted in some time. I think we have been programmed to think that we have to get married at a certain time in our lives, but conveniently we overlook the glaring statistic that 50% of all marriages fail. So I agree with you...what's the point. I think somehow everyone thinks they will be the couple to defy the odds...and in some cases, (and I know at least two couples who did this) they are already having problems and see the writing on the wall, but still insist on getting married because it was expected of them. I think most people take marriage too lightly. As well a lot of people get caught up in the fairy tale of planning a wedding, but do not plan for the marriage and then some just have the attitude that if it doesn't work out...they'll get divorced. What's the point of getting married?
I see marriage as a seal, an exclusive commitment between two people who are happy with each other and chose to be together to share their lives and the way they live it. What happens after marriage, infidelity, cheating, mistrust, abuse, happens because we let it happen.
Nobody is forced into a marriage. You do it out of your own free will and because you think it is a better deal.
If you don't see the point in getting married, then don't. Stay single.
I used to sneer at married people thinking how much it would suck and how much money it costs to get out. I always looked at it as a way for someone to have control over me or ';own'; me. Now, I am 27 and am really ready to committ myself to him completely, and he feels the same way. My feelings about marriage changed when I met someone whom we have a ';total adoration'; for one another. It really is a gift from God, and I dont even go to church.
Very good question!! I wonder this myself. I think that people have this fantasy of marriage and like to believe that things will work out in the long run, but then they run into difficulties and aren't prepared to work at it. Even my happily-married friends (together around 10 yrs) tell me how incredibly hard it is to maintain a good relationship over time and that they both have to put a lot of conscious effort into making it work.
Nowadays we have internet sex sites, internet dating. . . there's temptation (and the fantasy of instant gratification) literally at the end of your fingertips. It makes it so hard for people not to be tempted, especially if there is a bit of tension between them and their partner . . . contacting another person for no-strings-attached sex is only a mouse-click away. . .
because marriage has been around for thousands of years and it was actually created by God or inspired by him. The thing wrong with marriage, and the world, is control. Everyone wants it but onloy one person in a relationship, country etc. can have it. People dont know how to compensate. That's whats wrong wih marriage
so they can have there cake and eat it to!
The wife can cook, clean, work and hold a job down oh and dont forget about the sex to!
Then the mistress can well just have sex with the married guy!
There u go there are your reasons of why marriage is so important!
It's a old thing, kind of tradition more or less... But your right, most people can't be faithful, and most times I find it doesn't matter if one is married or not, just that they have that agreement is more important.
Good question! I don't know the point either and I am married. Sometimes, I wish I was not married because I really miss being single. I have been married two years and still feel this way. Good luck in your quest for an answer.
Well my husband and i have been happily married 17+yrs and we both have been faithful to each other and always will be cause we respect our vows and neither 1 of us want to be with anybody else.
There is one, and only one, bona fide reason to get married. You love that person.

Couples ....?
Just a question, If I asked you when were you 100% sure that you're better half would be your future spouse?
What would you say ?
I asked my fiance and he said hmm I dont know ?
How can you not know if you propsed, what a dummy I'm with ..Couples ....?
Give him the benefit of the doubt, maybe he misunderstood the question. How many people do you know would ask someone to marry them if they were not sure? It is a HUGE step for guys to ask a girl to marry them.Don't create something in your mind that is not there, obviously he loves you. Enjoy what you guys have!Couples ....?
do you think a light switch gets thrown and all of a sudden you go from not being the one to being the one? I think its a slow thing that is developed from mutual trust and caring until one day it seems that this person is the right one, but you realize that its been that way for a while.
yeah what a dummy he is for marrying someone who thinks this way of him and displays such a lack of respect for him.
I looked in his eyes one night while lying in bed after we had come home from vacation, and realized that for the last 5 years (this was a few years ago) he had been by my side for everything. even though we fight, we make up. we're stupid together, we laugh together, he'll take care of me and I'll take care of him. I just knew.
My husband and I just ';knew'; after our first date - and strangely, it was a blind date, too. I came home and told my Mom, ';I've got no negatives on this guy. I think he could be the one.';
A month later he invited me to go engagement ring shopping wtih him, 3 months after that he proposed.
We've been married now over 3 years. When it's right, you just know.
I knew that I wanted to marry him after a couple of months of dating. I knew 100% that he WOULD be my spouse when we went through with the wedding a year and a half later.
We dated for about 6 months and got to know each other on all levels. When we discovered we were compatible in many important areas, we became exclusive and dated for another 6 months. It takes time.

Is puerto vallarta a romantic place for couples?
I went to rosarito beach and I didn't think it was all that great. So how is puerto Vallarta in comparision? Is it pretty and scenic? will the water be warm towards the end of May? Just wanted a nice quiet relaxing vacation...did we chose a good place? Is puerto vallarta a romantic place for couples?
My husband and I went in March and I loved it. It was like our 2nd honeymoon. There's so many things to do, it's crazy. We did the Caletas Tour, we got a massage at the spa, we did the canopy ride, we partied and had great food....so enjoy it...it's very very nice and romantic. Is puerto vallarta a romantic place for couples?
Rosarito has the flavour of United States.
Please go to Vallarta. Check the next site, to me is one of the best places to stay with a beautiful private beach:
http://www.dreamsresorts.com/drepv/index鈥?/a>
You will have so many things to do and places to see. Puerto Vallarta is located between the ocean and the jungles of the Sierra Madre.
Somebody at the botom said something about Restaurant The Night of the Iguana. Well, sorry, it has been closed for over 3 years.
Best luck and enjoy your trip. You will love it.
Well, if you are looking for ''nice quiet relaxing vacation''', I don't think you had chosen the right place, because Mexicans are really, but I mean REALLY noisy! I live 2 hours away from Puerto Vallarta, and sometimes my wife and I go there over the weekend. It's crazy, many people love it like that, but I personally prefer Nuevo Vallarta, which is only minutes away from Puerto Vallarta, and it's a lot more quieter and cleaner. And the best is that there are very few noisy local Mexicans, so the quiet relaxing vacation is guaranteed :)
Anyway, I guess you have already booked your hotel in Puerto Vallarta, so let me tell you that you will probably like it. Don't think my opinion is negative, it is sincere answer to your question. And yeah, the water will be warm, but you would probably choose the hotel pool, I promise you!
Yes it is a great place. Cobblestone streets, the malecon, shopping and good food. It isn't small and we took a taxi into town most of the time. You must go to the restaurant called Night of the Iguana.Years ago Elizabeth Taylor filmed the movie there. It is romantic and be sure to go before sunset, ask for a table neat the water. It isn't expensive and a must do.We always go our last night there.Oh, you will need to take the taxi as it is up in the hills.
My husband and I went to Puerto Vallarta for our anniversary last year. We absolutly loved it!! I have never been to Rosarito beach but I have been to 3 other places in Mexico and Puerto Vallarta nothing like any of the places I visited. I recommend this 10 times more than the Bahamas. Have fun, go to the local restraunts and bars. Very nice locals and lots of them have relocated from Canada

When married couples separate, are they free to date and sex other people? Are they cheating by dating?
Some people have been separated for years and I was just wondering if they are allowed to date and have sex with other people while separated. What say you?
AKAO4D.When married couples separate, are they free to date and sex other people? Are they cheating by dating?
I see nothing wrong with them dating or sleeping around while separated.
They are no guarantee they will get back together and shopping around may make them realize what they had together. I am a very open minded person and if I was separated from my husband and he slept around so be it. They was something went wrong in the first place for the 2 to be separated. Just my opinion!!When married couples separate, are they free to date and sex other people? Are they cheating by dating?
Right or wrong, here in the States, most people do date while separated from their spouse. Is it cheating? Any judge would say so if there's physical contact between the two. However, less and less judges actually care about adultery anymore as it is so common now-a-days.
For me personally, if I were separated for an extended period of time, yes I would date. We all have needs and no one enjoys being lonely. If divorce is in the plans, darn right I would be moving on.
Legally? You are married until you divorce. So having sex with anyone while still married that is not your husband is adultery.
But, it's become a gray area these days and people who separate just go on and live their own life until they want to get married again then they get the divorce.
Some people find it easier since everything is already split and all they have to do is sign the papers and it's done. No fighting, no hassle.
I say, each to their own. Whatever works for them.
If they are separated, there is the chance they will get back together and then they have to deal with having another relationship, hurting the new person they are dating, etc. Not a good idea. If people are separated for years, there is a bigger problem, and I wouldn't date this person.
Obvioulsy this varys from one relationship to another.
I would come to an understanding with the separated partner about what is ok for the both of you. Are you both looking for space or you want to look for other people now.
Just have a conversation with the other party about your expectations and rules etc.
A separation is NOT a decree of divorce. A separated couple is STILL married so if you have sex during a separation you ARE cheating.
kind of because they are married
they could possibly get back together
Do whatever it's over anyways.

What do you think is the largest acceptable difference in age for couples?
This is for adults, up to what difference in age do you think is okay? What do you think is the largest acceptable difference in age for couples?
age doesn't matter at all. what counts is that the two people love each other. What do you think is the largest acceptable difference in age for couples?
I think thats up to the individuals. What may be ok for me may not be ok for others. I think that its inappropriate for an adult to date a minor.
Other than that its nobodies business what two consenting adults do....
I don't think there is a limit, as long as both are of age of consent.
i don't think age matters. it's love that counts.

what's your sun sign and that of the person your dating.

Taurus married to a Leo for almost 15 years. We complement each other. For example he is better with money and I am very creative. I would rate us a 9.Couples...?
Mine in Tauras and His is Capircorn, we were friends for a year then dated 1 1/2 years and have been married for 3 1/2 years and I would say we are an 8-9 most of the time with the occasional dip to a 6
Mines Capricorn...His Taurus... 4+ yrs together %26amp; a 4 rating
Mine is Aquarius and his is Pisces. We are about an 8. Together for 3 years and married with a stepson and a baby
scorpio and cancer

We are both Libras, been together almost 14 years and I would rate us a 9 on the scale.
Any one can be compatible with any one else depending on the astrological alingment %26amp; compatibility in the chart. For example i am a leo sun, scorpi rising with a gemini moon, my hubby is a pisces sun , leo rising with a taurus moon. Sure we have our ups %26amp; downs but all in all i say we are an 8 together. I just love how he is always willing to talk things over. I think as time goes by things will only get better.
I am a Sag %26amp; he is a Leo. I would rate us at a 10. We have our ups and downs as we are both fire signs but when things are good, which is about 90% of he time, there is total magic!
We have been together for a year.
I'm an Aries and my boyfriend is a Capricorn.
I am a Fire sign who is generally supposed to get along with other Fire or Air signs (both Masculine elements). My boyfriend is the first Feminine sign (Earth or Water) guy I've ever dated, and I think this is my best relationship. I actually found a guy who is sensitive to my needs, nurtures me, and doesn't play mind games.
I have had a few long-term relationships with Air sign guys, who were disconnected, aloof, detached (seemed like they weren't made for romance at all). And Fire sign guys who were insulting, obnoxious, and constantly challenged me (literally everything was a competition to them).
My Capricorn boyfriend is the first boyfriend I've had with deep emotions, strong loving instincts, and always makes me feel secure. Fire or Air sign guys were usually always broke and getting into trouble.

I want to take out 10 couples to dinner on a $1000 budget. Whats a cool interesting idea that would be fun?
We are all freinds and each year we take each other out. This year is my year... anything cool like limousines, and whatever are fine too.I want to take out 10 couples to dinner on a $1000 budget. Whats a cool interesting idea that would be fun?
Depending on where you are, the $1000 might not go far -- so what about finding a restaurant that is bring your own booze (byob) ?
You could buy on your favorite wine/beer at the store and bring it with you (huge savings). Around where I am many sushi places are byob -- if everyone likes sushi that could be a great idea.
What about Brazilian Rodizio dining? These are popping up all over the place -- basically you pay one price per person and it's all you can eat (not a buffet).. they come to your table with the food. It's a fun atmosphere.
You could also have a dinner party in a private room of a restaurant. This makes it more intimate and special. Many restaurants rent out private spaces for parties. One place near me will serve you dinner in the wine vault. Check around to places near you -- you might find a place that has something really cool and interesting.
For transportation -- again that depends on where you are located.. Limo's can get pricey -- If all of you are drinking a lot, consider planning out a location where you guys can take public transportation.
After dinner, find a place to go for fancy coffee drinks and/or desserts.
It's a great idea and very cool that 10 couples stick together over the years!I want to take out 10 couples to dinner on a $1000 budget. Whats a cool interesting idea that would be fun?
South American Tapas - that is always fun for a group! Pick everything out ahead of time including the wine - otherwise, this can get really expensive.
Have a sushi feast, call ahead to the restaurant and have it all laid out on the tables when they get there.

How do i start to fine couples to shoot wedding/engagements for free?
i'm trying to get into wedding photography after getting many complements from friends. but i need real couples so that i can start shooting. I don't want to be the main photographer on my own friend's wedding because I do not want to mess up.How do i start to fine couples to shoot wedding/engagements for free?
I wouldnt say that you are afraid to mess up. I know of one other person who did this, and she had a website blog setup to show her work, then what she did was she went on to theknot.com and told the ladies in her area that she was doing free photo sessions through novemeber. This gives her a portfolio and a fan base. She is very good and i may use her for budoir photos.
Good luck to you..How do i start to fine couples to shoot wedding/engagements for free?
Same question as the other person...where are you? We need to get our's done...but trying to muster up the money to do it!
I would not imagine it would be too hard to find couple who want a photographer for free. Ask around, see if your can get an apprenticeship with a photographer to get some experience under your belt.
When looking for people to work for don't tell them you're afraid to mess up. Advertise in newspapers and around colleges. A girl I know got someone to take the pictures for free and then only had to pay for the developing and prints because the photographer had never done a wedding before. Consider at least lowering your price. A lot of older college girls are getting married, don't have much money and are looking for a deal but someone who can take pictures. If you don't have one, create a portfolio of your work and maybe some portraits you've done before so you have something to show prospective customers.
If you are in Singapore. Contact me!
I'm in South Florida. I have alot of events coming up in the next year. Email me if the location is ok
Put an ad on www.craigslist.org
I would have let you photograph our wedding, but it was this past May.
Put an ad in Craigslist close to the area you are in and work. I麓m sure you麓ll get lots of calls.
Where are you???
I am getting Married in the Gold Goast in March 2008
Where are you located? Try putting ads in your local papers in your area. I can help you out but need to know where you are. I already have a wedding photographer but can still help you out.

What Are All The Naruto Yaoi Couples?
Can someone tell me all the Naruto Yaoi couples except for the ones including Gaara, Kankuro? I don't want to hear any yaoi couples including those 2. And I don't care about any of the sensei's so don't mention any of them, or the Akatsuki. So yeah,no yaoi mentions of Gaara, Kankuro, Sensei's or the Akatsuki. No yuri either, thank you. But yeah, can someone name some Naruto Yaoi couples? What Are All The Naruto Yaoi Couples?

nejixpratically any other guy (he's hot ! *pouts*)
JuugoKimmi (c'mon, they probably liked each other!)
hiashihizashi (wouldn't that be cool...?)
1sthokage2ndhokage, srry, kinda forgot their names (incest!!!!)
narutokyubi (this counts, right?)
yondiamekyubi
jiraiyaOro (its yoai...)

genmairukaWhat Are All The Naruto Yaoi Couples?
Ok so most popular is Naruto/Sasuke (Sasuke/Naruto)
Sai/Naruto is also popular. Kabuto/Sasuke is also kinda popular. Orochimaru/Sasuke and Orochimaru/Kabuto are also pretty popular.
I know you said no Gaara but Gaara/Lee is also pretty popular (along with Gaara/Naruto)
Then there are tons of side yaoi. Pretty much you can add any two guys together. Lets see it mainly depends on what you like I'd say.
SasuNaru/NaruSasu
GaaraxNeiji (i have no idea how this works out!)
KibaxNeiji
OrochimaruxSasuke
OrochimaruxKabuto
SaiNaru (my guilty pleasure)
KibaShino
ShikamaruxChouji
uhmm well there's the main characters
NarutoxSasuske
and
SaixNaruto
you can watch them on youtube :)
naruto and sasuke
shikamaru and sasuke
I love yaoi!

Is it legal for non-married couples (1 male, 1 female) to live together in Dubai?
My girlfriend and I are thinking of moving to DXB. We'll be buying property as a way to get residency permits, but can we buy a flat as a non-married couple and obtain residency? Thanks. Is it legal for non-married couples (1 male, 1 female) to live together in Dubai?
The main purchaser is allowed to apply for a 3 year residency permit when purchasing certain properties. Not all properties have this eligibility and hence clarification should be sought before purchase. A resident鈥檚 visa does not entitle the holder to work. The main purchaser may re-apply for residency every 3 years indefinitely as long as the applicant is still a property owner and has not breached any Dubai regulations. The cost of a residency application is about 拢1000. This may vary between developers. There will also be an administration charge to arrange. The main purchaser may then sponsor the rest of his FAMILY. The number of bedrooms in the property will determine how many resident permits may be allowed. Properties may be purchased jointly by a husband or WIFE but a main purchaser must be designated and the principle purchaser only will be allowed to apply for the residency visa. Once the principle purchaser has a residency visa then he/she will be allowed to sponsor other immediate family members. They will not be allowed to sponsor friends or PARTNERS. A resident will be required to enter Dubai at least once every six months, for his visa to remain valid.
In the UAE it is illegal for a non married couple to live together also when the authorities only react on complaints. Only one of you would be able to obtain a residence visa by buying property. (Mostly the man/husband) You will not be able to sponsor your girlfriend.

yes but be veary careful
Yes, it is illegal and when renting an apartment together you will be asked for the marriage certificate.
It is illegal for non married couple to live together in UAE. But people do live there. As far as rules relating to purchase of property u can contact any builders like DAMAC etc.....they can tell u the rules better...blush

What do you think of interracial couples? Do you think it is wrong or weird?
Hmm.. I talked to a girl who says she thinks people of different races look stupid with each other and I thought.... WOW.What do you think of interracial couples? Do you think it is wrong or weird?
I don't think it's wrong or weird at ALL. My mom's sister is Nepali (it's near India) and her husband is German. I find it completely normal and fine.. why shouldn't I?What do you think of interracial couples? Do you think it is wrong or weird?
Well I'm in an interaccial relationship and have 2 and a half mixed children. Somepeople look at us funny but it doesn't bother me I believe everyone is entitled to their own opinion and as long as they don't disrespect me or my kids I'm cool. They can look all they want. But no matter what you do you are judged by others. It's just up to you if you let it get to you.
People like her are exactly the reason why the rest of us don't let our kids play in the shallow end of the gene pool -- stupid is sometimes contagious.
Of course there's nothing wrong or weird about it. My husband and I look great together, and our son is beautiful.
well whoever you talked to iS A DUMBAS$ because there is nothin wrong with two people of different races loving each other. Im white and my fiancee is mexican and i have never been happier in my life. we're perfect for each other and so much in love.
I think the same thing. WOW. I think it's rather bizarre how some people think.
Most of my family is interracial. All I see is some really beautiful people ... inside %26amp; out.
I wonder what that girl would think if she were truly blind.
Wow, is she ignorant. I don't usually thing anything. If they like each other and want to be together than who am'I to judge them besides I dated interracially all the time so I can't speak out against anyone else doing it
i think its cool. I look american but was actually born and raised in germany. but i love seeing couples out there that are clearly from different backgrounds. :) its beautiful!
Nahh, my and my fiance are interracial
Hes half Mexican half Arabic.
Great guy respects people and loves me
what else could i want?
i think its beautiful. it means people love each other enough to look past stupid petty differences that really dont mean much to begin with.
being that i am white and my husband hispanic i think its okay to be with someone of another race. we have 2 mexican looking children and one white
There really isnt anything wrong with that!
i think it's fantastic. moving farther away from racism.
I wanna date a ginger person
is that wrong?
I see nothing wrong with that :)
Not wrong or weird. Love is love no matter what.
WOW it's 2009.
my parents think it's wrong.
i think you should just let 'em love (:
i dont think anything of it its two people who are a couple, does it really matter what color their skin is?
I don't care. As long as they love each other.
=)
whats to think of it
Not at all. though i tend to think we are all the same race.

Why do a lot of couples wait?
I always see questions about young parents, but none about older parents. I would like to know why do a lot of couples wait until they are in their 30's or 40'2 to have children? I had my children very early. I had my first child at 18 and my second at 19. No welfare or teen mommy comments please, because I'm not the typicial ex-teen mom. So, why do you wait if you waited to have children? Why do a lot of couples wait?
I'm 30 and my husband is 35. We got married 2 years ago. A year ago, we wanted to have kids. Then I went to a doctor and asked some questions about getting pregnant(I've known since I was 16 that I'd have trouble in that area) and her answers made me feel horrible. My husband and I talked about it and decided we would not try anytime soon and would wait and see how we felt later on. Right now, he works overnights(10-7) and I work days 8-3, so we don't have much time together. I don't want to be home alone all night with a child, and he wouldn't be able to sleep during the day if I was at work because he'd have to watch the baby. He's tried for a new day job but nothing has come through yet. I'm sure whenever it does, we'll revisit the child issue. But for now, the work schedule and tight budget are 2 issues. Another is, we're selfish. We like being able to sleep late and go out to dinner and not worry about finding a babysitter or bringing a baby with us. We have two cats and those are enough of a responsibility. We're probably moving in the next 5 years(to wherever my parents retire to) and we've talked about maybe trying then. Why do a lot of couples wait?
There are advantages and disadvantage to being a young or older parent
I think it really is a personnel preference. For people who are older and have children it may be that they just didn鈥檛 find the right partner in till later in their life. My aunt got married in 2000 she had been married before but no children. She and her husband adopted a baby boy in 2003, my aunt was 48. Sometimes she feels she too old to be a mother but then again having my little cousin also makes her feel younger at times too. Most older parents don鈥檛 have to worry about finical burdens that most young parents will have unless they are wealthy such as being a celebrity or their family has money (i.e. Hiltons, Johnson鈥檚). They feel like they are grown up they鈥檝e had their time to play and are truly ready to take on the parenting role, they鈥檝e been able to be husband and wife or partner for while prior to having children.
I鈥檓 only 23, not married or dating anyone so I could see myself having kids in my late 20鈥檚 even early 30鈥檚. When I do eventual marry I think I鈥檇 like to wait 2 or 3 years just so me and my husband can have time a lone, just being a married couple, kids change everything, not for the bad of course. Your life will never be the same once you have kids. I know a couple who were married for 8 years before they adopted a baby. Prior to having their child, they enjoyed doing things on weekends with their friends, they could leave at the spur of a moment. That all changed when they got their boy, of course they wouldn鈥檛 have changed it for anything but they鈥檝e told me they enjoy theirs years that it was just them.
I'm 23 years old and I'm happily married we're having our second child together I never saw the point in waiting untill I was in my 30's or 40's to have kids. I had my son now where having a girl and I couldn't be any more excitied.
alot of people (including myself) wait to have kids because (from my point) they want to make sure they have a good and steady job to make enough money to support and care for the child, and a house where the child can sleep, and toys for the child and food and clothes etc. why bring a child into this world when you can't give the child all its needs and wants, imagine that you have a child and you don't have any money to buy the child enough food, clothes, diaper etc, that would be very bad.
First, I had a lot of living to do before I was tied down to parental responsibilities. I enjoyed going out for cocktails, attending concerts, traveling, and just enjoying all of the diversions that adulthood allows. My wife and I both worked the night shift, and enjoyed late night diversions and entertainment.
No regrets, but now we have to work opposite shifts so that our son isn't subjected to day care. We seldom, if ever go out for entertainment purposes. Our lives are centered on, and revolve around our home and child. My wife is forty five, and I am fifty, and at this point in our lives, we gladly defer from an active social life for the good of our son. We do not feel deprived or put upon. This would not be the case if we were substantially younger.
Oh, and I am SOOOOOOO looking forward to the day when he moves out. I haven't sparked up a doobie in many many years, and I miss it.
It is a matter of personal preferences and choices.
My husband and I are waiting, we are 27 and 29. It's really just that we aren't sure we even want children at all. May as well wait until we are bored with our lives and we really want a child. We'll be better parents for it. If we never want one, then so be it. Some people want them right away and some do not. That's it.
I married at 19, still married to the same Guy, (20 yrs.)I was not taking anyyhing it took 7 years to get my first, %26amp; at 30 I had my last and had my tubes cut %26amp; tied, I did not feel it would be fair to be a old lady raising babies, as it is I am older then most my boys parents. I do not condem those who wait but I want to be able to see my grandbabies too! I am proud of you !
I waited because I had not met ';Mr. Right';!!!!!!!!!!!!! At 18, 19 and into my 20's I was experiencing my life to it's fullest!! College, traveling and doing everything I could!! As for this ';42'; year old ';hot mom'; of three................. I'm glad I did :)~

They wait because they want to finish college and have their careers befor they become parents. Some because they want to enjoy their lives befor they dedicate their life to their children. Then, some people just arent sure they want kids, or they are waiting for the right person.
I can only answer for myself. I got married while I was still in college and wanted to have kids by about 25, but my husband was afraid that they'd put too much of a damper on his lifestyle. We ended up divorcing when I was 29, in part because of our disagreement over when to have kids. So I was starting over at about 30. I finally met someone that I have a stable, loving relationship with and we're thinking about having a baby next year; I'll be 37. It's not so much a matter of ';waiting'; as that's just the way it worked out for me.
Some people wait so that they can live their lives while they are still young enough to appreciate it. Others wait so that they will be done with college and have a good job so that they can support their family. Others don't have a partner while young and are responsible enough not to deal with being a parent until married. Others take time to grow into the idea of having kids.
I'm 23 and waiting to have children - not until I'm 30 or 40 though - just another year or two until my boyfriend and I are married and get this whole buying a house thing done - I dunno I guess it's all personal preference
I waited ... forever. We didn't have kids at all. I just never felt the need to have children. What's the point? Far too many people in the world anyway. And I've read several times that the cost to raise a child through college is about $300,000 or more. Gee, I'd rather spend that on retirement.
I could never figure out why people are so eager to have children. I have known many, many couples with children who openly stated that they regretted it.
Me and my husband have decided to wait until I am in my late 20's early 30's because we want to be more steady and able to give our children more. When people have their children in there teens they are children theirselves. In having children young the parents are missing out on part of their adulthood. 8 out of 10 times teen mothers are on welfare and not able to take care of their children without help.
Because I like my job very much. I love what I do, it pays extremely well, and it lets me travel all around the world, and I spent 10 years in school to get this job. I could never do this if I were pregnant or had a kid. My husband also likes his job, and we are not willing to make any changes right now.
We enjoy being able to take a weekend trip abroad whenever we feel like it, and I like the idea that I can move in no time if my job requires that.
There is so many things I would like to try before I decide if I want to have a child- spend several months abroad again, buy a summer house, go dog-sledding, etc. I'd also want to have at least some college funds for the child even before it's born, in case something happens to me. I think parents who just pop them out and do not give their kids a chance to go to school are extremely selfish.
waited because we were not married and my husband was training for a career and we were advised by our doctor to wait until after the second anniversary because the first year is the honeymoon and the second year is real life then if you are still talking...
I didn't meet the man I had my daughter with until I was in my 30's...it's that simple. I wasn't waiting for any right time...I always wanted her.
Many people choose to establish careers before they have children and then have the family.
I wasn't a ';waiter';, Like you I had my first at 18, but I didn't have my second until 28. I like the fact that I can relate to my 10 year old and I know EVERYTHING hes doing and saying. Because I had him so young, a lot of the slang and music he hears I know and can enjoy with him... As opposed to the ';waiters'; who call their kids music ';noise';. I can keep up with him. I think that when my baby is his age and I'm older, I won't be able to be as ';active'; as I am with the older one.
My mom was 32 when I was born and my sister and I had the ONLY shroud over her eyes. She wasn't 'up' with the times, so we pretty much used different language, if you will, when we spoke around her, so she wouldn't know what we were talking about.
I think the younger parents definitely have the advantage... I would advise to at LEAST be in your mid 20's before you go having kids. Have fun, go out, enjoy life first. That is what I missed having a child so young. Forces you to grow up.
cause they got others woman waiting an maybe cause they like someome else ur stupid *****

I am going on a honeymoon for a Carnival cruise, the Victory on May18th and they asked me if I was celebreting something and I told them is my honeymoon. and they said GREAT...
Do they give anything away? offer something? upgrade? something? or will they just try and sell me more stuff?Does Carnival offer anything to couples celebrating their honeymoon?
They don't give discounts... However you can request a special occasion decoration in your room, also they have a lot of extras (at a high cost of course..) Like, cake, bottles of champagne with rose petals, packages with spa treatments, etc.
Personally, when my husband and I went for our anniversery the extras were too pricey, and we had a nice bottle of our favorite wine we wanted to bring, and they charged us a corkage fee of ten bucks. I'd do that... But they make you drink the wine in the Lounge.. can't take it to your room.
you could always sneak some stuff on, and decorate the room yourself as a surpise! I'd do that...Does Carnival offer anything to couples celebrating their honeymoon?
Ugh, Carnival sucks. Enjoy your honeymoon!
They used to do special occasion cakes in the dining room for things like birthdays and anniversaries but I heard that they were starting to charge for them.
I wouldn't count on a free upgrade. But, you can always count on them to try and sell you stuff....

Whats your opinion about interracial couples?
i never had a boyfriend from my own ethnicity....always has been with someone from different parts of the world. just wanted to know how people view interracial couples when they walk on the street.Whats your opinion about interracial couples?
I think it's cool, but it so common these days (at least where I live) it doesn't attract much notice except from the few paranoid bigots.
My general observation is that interracial parents tend to have children more beautiful than average (in the eye of the beholder, and all that), and probably healthier too because of less chance of recessive traits popping up.Whats your opinion about interracial couples?
In my case, 'interracial' is not a word, nor an issue. Interracial dating is only an issue when one makes it an issue. I'm happy with dating anyone I'm attracted to, along with many others. I mean, until I see someone dating a dog and/or buffalo, maybe it would catch my attention for being odd, or downright disgusting.
It is just two people being a couple , my grandmother was married to a black guy and i called him my grandpa that was all i knew so two races are normal to me.
i see two ORDINARY couples nothing strange at all

Do you agree that the biological parents should set specific rules for the couples who adopt their embryos?
Describe a possible complication of these rules.Do you agree that the biological parents should set specific rules for the couples who adopt their embryos?
No. I don't want anyone's rules. If it's my kid, it's my kid. I mean, I'm not going to mistreat the child but rules stifle your parenting.Do you agree that the biological parents should set specific rules for the couples who adopt their embryos?
yes i agree, its their child that they are giving you (or atleast that is the way they might think of it) so they should get to set some rules for the adoption (they get to say if they want an open adoption, semi-open etc and they should get to choose the family they want their child to be raised with). Just like a birthmother would if she was giving up her infant.
as for ';rules'; i assume you meant rules (or conditions) for the adoption and not the way the couple would raise the child.
Personally I think if they are going to donate or give their children up...they need to let the adoptive parents raise the child the way they want to and not the way the biological parents want them to. I can understand if its something like don't abuse the children or encourage them in everything they do...but as for actual parenting rules like bedtimes and stuff like that, its no longer their place to make these rules seeing as they are no longer the adults caring for the child/ren...I'm not tryin to be mean or rude but I certainly would not want to go through all the hell you have to in order to adopt a bundle of joy and then when I finally get that bundle of joy I'm told by the people who are giving the child/embryo up,how to raise that child and go by their rules.
When they donate or give the child up for adoption they are relinquishing their rights to the adoptive parents and need to let them parent the way they see fit.
Sorry...
NO BECAUSE IF THE BIOLOGICAL PARENT CHOOSES TO GIVE UPO THEIR CHILD THEN THEY SHOULDNT HVE ANY SAY IN HOW SUMBODY ELSE IS RAISING IT...ITS NOT THEIR BUISNESS ANYMORE
No. I think the parents of the embryo should sign all rights to the adoptive parents and let them raise the baby as they see fit.
