Why do we only have parties for newly united couples?

I think we should have showers for the recently divorced (or dumped) They surely need some new kitchen tools or fluffy towels. How about a six-pack and some cheetos to go with the porn? (naturally,these would be for the males as the females get most everything of worth in our country.Why do we only have parties for newly united couples?
I think it's a great idea. It's a time when you really need cheering up and knowing friends care means a lot.Why do we only have parties for newly united couples?

far as i know they do have parties for these circumstances
I party all the time
because it is called other things (not so nice things) when the same people do the same ';party type actions'; after newly being un-united.

If females get all the good stuff it's mostly because the man lets them. Usually divorcing couples split things.
You may have parties for whomever you wish. There is already a litany of reasons for parties, and I believe the divorcee or dumpee is included on that list. But you may want to reconsider the notion of a party for the dumped person. Relationships today seem to be so casual, partners move in and out like ships in the night. You could be starting a trend that would rapidly get out of hand. But it's up to you.....
