I want to take out 10 couples to dinner on a $1000 budget. Whats a cool interesting idea that would be fun?

We are all freinds and each year we take each other out. This year is my year... anything cool like limousines, and whatever are fine too.I want to take out 10 couples to dinner on a $1000 budget. Whats a cool interesting idea that would be fun?
Depending on where you are, the $1000 might not go far -- so what about finding a restaurant that is bring your own booze (byob) ?


You could buy on your favorite wine/beer at the store and bring it with you (huge savings). Around where I am many sushi places are byob -- if everyone likes sushi that could be a great idea.





What about Brazilian Rodizio dining? These are popping up all over the place -- basically you pay one price per person and it's all you can eat (not a buffet).. they come to your table with the food. It's a fun atmosphere.





You could also have a dinner party in a private room of a restaurant. This makes it more intimate and special. Many restaurants rent out private spaces for parties. One place near me will serve you dinner in the wine vault. Check around to places near you -- you might find a place that has something really cool and interesting.





For transportation -- again that depends on where you are located.. Limo's can get pricey -- If all of you are drinking a lot, consider planning out a location where you guys can take public transportation.





After dinner, find a place to go for fancy coffee drinks and/or desserts.

South American Tapas - that is always fun for a group! Pick everything out ahead of time including the wine - otherwise, this can get really expensive.
Have a sushi feast, call ahead to the restaurant and have it all laid out on the tables when they get there.
